A Guide to the Storyteller's Playbook

Storyteller's Playbook is my blog. It's about me and the things I like. Initially, I'd planned to focus the blog on storytelling, especially storytelling for online gaming, but over time, I've started doing more about my life, my family, and even my triathlon obsession. Occasionally I like to talk about comics or books I've read, and yes, I sometimes even talk about my game, The Sellswords of Luskan.

If you want to read some of my storytelling, a few links are below, in the Critical Links section:

- Bronx Angel
is my original graphic novel, published by Dakuwaka, available through Wowio.

- Awesome Storm Justice 41
is an, ahem, awesome superhero parody that I worked on with my friend Steve and a few terrific volunteer artists.

- Proletariat Comics
was the name of my old comic book company, founded with my friend Jerry. We created it to promote our own work and did some things I thought were pretty good.

- The Stone Priest's Wife is a sword-and-sorcery short story I wrote for a contest. Won $200 with it.

- I wrote the Rival Angels' Halloween Special for my friend Alan Evans's fantastic wrestling webcomic Rival Angels.

- Winter Ambush is a short, one-player adventure for D&D 4e. I wrote it for my gaming group.

- Finally, The Ballad of Lu-Tze is my novel. I wrote it using the same characters as are in The Stone Priest's Wife. I've never attempted to get it published.
