I spent about 90 minutes in the gym on Saturday morning, but the swim that followed was one of the most painful experiences I've had since graduating from the Academy. I'll admit that I ended up cutting the last of the 300's. With a full pool, no lane lines, and arms that were heavy as all Hell, I ended up feeling like the piano was falling in on me. But I made it back up in the Pulls, going 2 x 300 pull instead of 1 x 400.
Sunday I ran a bit more than 7, just like I planned. Maybe the best run I've had since I got pneumonia last year. I wore the HR monitor and was just floating at a heart rate of 147.
After that, I ironed and watched USA Hockey. Good game. Better beer.
